Nagoya 8 January - concert report
This report is basically for the Nagoya 8 Jan concert, the second concert I went to. Tough I’ll mention moments from Osaka 3 Jan too. I can’t make an entire report for Osaka because…I was so freaked out attending my first concert that I didn’t even knew what was happening to me.
Anyway, let's get to the story.
First of all, uchiwa panic~ I already had a Sho uchiwa I used at Osaka. This one:
Candle Sho XD
I left the other side empty because I had no more ideas, and I was gonna go to Nagoya like that. Buuut…after I watched Kotatsu no Arashi on Friday night and saw the old clips from Mago Mago Arashi, I wanted to make a “tori ningen” ( bird man ) uchiwa no matter what. Especially because I knew my Nagoya seat was going to be in front, so I had chances to make Aiba look at me. So I started working at it the night before the concert and rushed a bit, I made the kanji too big. But I think it turned out pretty nice in the end. Tada!
Concert day. I arrived in Nagoya at 10.30. I started to see fans with Beautiful World bags even from the shinkansen station. Arashi was in town, baby! So I just followed everyone and didn’t had to get lost in the subway ( like I did in Osaka ^^ ).
Fans were begging for tickets from inside the subway station all over to the Dome. I felt so sad for them. One of the girls was even crying. Couldn’t help anyone unfortunately so went on my way.
Got to the Dome and went to buy goods. There was no queue at all, because of the presale on Friday. Finished in 10 minutes. Funny moment when I was buying the clear files:
Me: A Nino clearfile, please.
*seller, being a bit shocked*: A...Ninomiya-san clearfile, right?
Me: Yup, a Nino clearfile
I guess it’s considered rude calling their names if I don’t know them personally. But I actually do. I meet them in my dreams every night Anyway, here is my treasure <3
I then started to go around the Dome, taking pictures while waiting for the gates to open. There were a lot of fans wearing Kaibutsu-kun costumes, or outfits that Arashi previously wore in some concert. There were also girls dressed completely in the color of their ichiban, and even had his name written on their faces. How cool is that.
I suddenly started hearing A-RA-SHI from inside. At first I thought the staff must be really bored, listening to Arashi music inside, but then I had the revelation *facepalm* It was Arashi rehearsing O.o So I stuck myself on the first door I saw, together with other fans, and listened. I could also see the lights through the doors. Then they played a part of “Rock this” and more and more fans started coming to the doors. But the staff got annoyed and told us to go away from the doors ^^ I’m sorry for raping Arashi’s voices
Driven away by the heartless staff, I then went a bit to a nearby mall. ALL the shops were playing Arashi music <3 It was a bit the way I imagine heaven. They really know how to make money, haha.
Ok, so after lots and lots of walking around, the gates finally opened. I was literally exploding while waiting to go inside. I was so scared they were gonna notice I have a Japanese name on my ticket. They didn’t give a crap at Osaka, though. Even the bag checking was a joke. They were like
“You don’t have a camera, right?”
*me holding the camera in the pocket* Nope!
Then they just looked at my bag without even touching it or asking to look inside, and just let me go in. But the check at Nagoya seemed more serious and I was really scared. And to make things worse, when they told us to fold a bit the part of the ticket that was going to get ripped, I accidentally ripped the ticket myself…I thought my life was over. I was sure they were gonna check the two sides to see if it’s the same ticket and they’ll certainly see the name as well. I had already given up on life by the time I got to the gates. But surprisingly…they didn’t care again. And I was so amazed I’m actually inside that I literally ran away from the ticket checkers and stopped far far far away.
Found my seat, which was sooooo much beter than the Osaka one. I knew I was finally going to see them close <3 Also met my "neighbours".
As a little note, I want to say what I don't like about some japanese fans. While some of them are really hysterical, others don’t even move during the concerts. I was lucky to be with hysterical fans at Osaka, but at Nagoya I was surrounded by old ladies. Some of them sat down during the whole concert. Some of them were casually EATING during the concert and not even paying attention. Woman, it’s freakin ARASHI in front of you and you’re eating?
Anyway...
Finally, the concert started. I’m going to say a few things about each song in order. Though there are I few I really don't remember much about, so I'll skip those.
Bokuga Boku no Subete
Everyone was calling their name. The stadium suddenly became dark and everyone went crazy. Can’t even explain the feeling T_T They started playing the Boku ga boku no subete background, in musicbox style. Everything was dark. And then they suddenly appeared on stage with a light only on them. GHHHHHHH HOW CAN I EXPLIAN THE FEELING.This part was soooo freakin' freakin' freakin' overwhelming! I start crying everytime I remember it.
Then they sang only the chorus, slower than in the actual song. They didn’t had any background music during this. Only pure heavenly voices, making a mess out of your heart T_T Then after the chours, long pause -the stadium was so silent I could hear my breath- then Jun screamed "Arashi live tour...BEAUTIFUL WORLD" -> fireworks -> and Believe suddenly started
Believe
Awesome as ever. The lights in the whole stadium were brilliant. Especially the lighting during Sho’s rap. It kinda gives you an apocalypse feeling *in a good way, haha*
Kotoba yori taisetsuna mono
They started going around the stadium at this song if I remember correctly. Sho went close to me in one of those little carriages and I literally fainted. Everyone was screaming his name, while I was screaming I LOVE YOOOU in my language, haha XDD. ( At Osaka, Sho sang the rap of this song in front of me…I think that moment is in top 5 of my life. ) Nino was also pretty close. He was dancing like a maniac in front of us, waving his hamburger hands♥, trying to get us dance like him. But I was just stoned, staring at the love of my life being...there.
Little note: I don’t remember which song was it, but Nino messed a bit his solo, and made a “forgive me” puppy face ♥♥♥
Oh! Yeah
They did the greetings during this song. They were sitting on those huge things that stretch very high in the air. Sho made us scream weird stuff like AGEPOYOOO <3 Though I know what they always say during the greetings, it’s so breathtaking actually hearing it. Especially Nino’s squirrel-style IRRASHAIMASE
A.RA.SHI
They didn’t dance unfortunately *I was so hoping I’m going to see live the Ohno butt-attack someday :(* They were still up in the air for the first half of the song.
Rock this
Juniors were dancing with flags on the stage and there was an awesome atmosphere before the song started. Arashi came up from above and sang the first part of the song in the air *I wonder how poor Sho managed to still rap, haha* BEAUTIFUL black outfits. Especially Sho’s. The rap part of each member was just… brilliant . You know they don’t always sound like in the original songs, especially at rap parts. But Ohno….when it was his turn to sing, I had the impression someone just turned on the CD. How can this man be so goddamn talented!?
Unfortunately they didn’t danced on this song either…and I was soooo looking forward to it after seeing how they danced at Kokuritsu *sigh* But it was still brilliant.

They scattered on the stage and formed 5 groups. Each member had a group of dancers behind and was being illuminated by his color. When it was a member’s turn to sing, an imagine of him would appear on the big screen, with him slowly raising his hands, holding a light in his color. Extremely beautiful <3 After each member finished his solo, the lights they were holding blended and an image of all 5 of them forming a circle and holding those lights appeared. They circle kept on spinning until the end of the song while Arashi started dancing.

Crazy moon
The dance was epic. I could see them pretty well without looking at the screens. It’s actually a different experience watching them dancing live. At TV, when they just show one member at a time or show the 5 of them for a few seconds, they destroy half of the greatness. I was so so so impressed looking at how their legs were moving. Especially during the part when they bend their knees ♥
Lucky man
I think they came on the mini stages again at this song. Sho went close to me and I knew I had to make him see the uchiwa this time. I started waving it like a maniac. He first looked at the fans that were higher than me, waving and smiling at them. AND THEN LOOKED IN MY DIRECTION. I DIED. But…didn’t got the reaction I was hoping for. He just looked like 3-4 seconds towards me with a very bored-slightly pissed look and then went away. Maybe he didn’t looked at me? Maybe he did, but wasn’t happy with the Candle Sho thingy? Maybe he was pissed for other reason? Don’t know what to think but was a bit disappointed...Anyway, I'm happy at least I made eye-contact with him or at least I think I did
Shake it !
His solo should be found in dictionaries as the cause of nosebleed. I don’t even know how to begin. His shirt was opened. And he just did with his ass...exactly what the title says. Pretty much the entire song. And touching…Junior Jun a few times. Before the last chorus he literally ripped the shirt off him and the whole stadium died. I think. Because I could only hear my psycho scream. His solo is definely in my top moments of the concert.
Ashita no Kioku
They were scattered on the main stage. Adorable, purple costumes. The song was beautiful and touching.
Furusato
No piano unfortunately…but beautiful nevertheless. I wonder why didn't anyone die after Ohno's solo part.
Hero
THIS.THISSS. Damn Ohmiya tease! At the end of the song they pretended they’re were gonna kiss again, like in the Time concerts. They put their arms around each other and looked at us with smug smiles. I was dead already. Then they looked at each other and…NOTHING. The light went out and they remained like that ( well at least I hope they kissed in the dark ). Damn you Ohmiya. You knew your biggest maniac-fangirl was there and wanted to torture me.
Jankute
Dancing with the chair. This was cute and hot at the same time. At some parts of the dance he was jumping like a little kid *it reminded me of the A-RA-SHI exaggerated dance Nakai made them do at Utaban* He too had his shirt half opened. *they wanna kill us this tour…and I haven’t even got to Ohno yet*
Kono mama motto
Sho's outfit was SO cute. Especially the little hat. And he was so damn beautiful. That kept echoing inside my head the whole song "you're damn beautiful....you're damn beautiful". When I saw pics of his outfit last summer I laughed my ass off, but really, it was perfect. Johnny’s Jr. were holding huge feathers and were waving them around him XD

Kitto Daijoubu
If I remember correctly, they were going around the stadium on the mini stages at this song. Jun passed in front of me and kept waving and making cute and baka faces at us. I just wanted to jump on him. Aiba came too, not very close, but I could see him pretty well. His smile is just the best thing that can exist in this world. Unfortunately, I didn't saw Aiba much at both concerts. The one that came close the most was Jun. Like 10 times damn yoooou but I'm still happy
Happiness
Don’t like this song usually, but loved it in the concert. Everyone was hyper. Waving that penlight is serious business, especially during songs like this.
Meikyuu Love Song
When they turned to each other and did the fingers thingy, it just hit me again that IT'S THEM, IN FRONT OF ME. Sho and Nino exaggerated that part of the dance again XDD And Aibaka tripped a bit during the song and hurt his leg. Even some blood came out, which made Neen laugh like a psycho later during the MC XD BRAT
Little note: speaking of Aibaka. At the Osaka concert, the five of them were on the main stage. They weren't moving. AT ALL. Even so, Aiba fell XD Only he can do that, I swear...

While they were singing, an image of each member appeared on the screen, tears flowing from their eyes. So~ beautiful! I even forgot to look at the real Arashi because those images were too amazing.
Lotus
I was so extatic that I actually believed they sang Mada minu sekai he for like half of the song. And no, I’m not a new fan or something O.o I was just THAT freaked out.
Niji no Kakera ~no rain, no rainbow~
The sound in the stadium was weird…I always heard their voices like they had just received a kick in the…uhm. ( especially Jun, he had that voice thorough the concert, lol ). But it was especially intense at this song, haha. It was like an army of chipmunks was singing. But it was cute! They didn’t had the same outfits as Kokuritsu though. No rainbow-colored scarves and drop-dead-hot white outfits :(
Hung up on
HOTNESS. NOTHING BUT OVERWHELMING HOTNESS. The dance was pure brilliance. Ohno’s voice was godly. And the last part of the song when he sings “oh no no no” gave the final blow…I think the stadium melted *not the people, but the actual stadium* If only the open shirt thingy could apply to him too…but unfortunately, he had clothes.
Doko ni demo aru uta
Never thought that a brat could transform into an angel. But apparently it can happen. This performance was waay WAAY deeper than Konseki or any other of his sad songs. His voice was just....angelic. And they showed the whole time a close-up of his adorable face on the screen #$$I^&*:%*&$^#@$%#^*&*
Attack it
My favorite part of the concert. Everyone was jumping and Arashi were so hyper. Our penlights were almost breaking. I was expecting Sho to do his weird face again *when he shoots his head* but he didn’t do it this time ( he did it at Osaka though ♥ ).
morning light
One of my favorite songs ever, but didn’t enjoyed it as I thought I would. I was too hyper after Attack it and wanted to jump more XD
After Morning Light, they made some nice projections that looked 3D. I don’t know how to explain, it was like the bricks of the building were coming forward and then going back. They also showed some adorable pictures of Arashi in the same pattern. Jun was sticking his tongue out <3 Then they danced with projections just as they did at Kouhaku. It was awesome alternation of the real Arashi dancing with Arashi on the screen. Sho was dancing with lots of other Shos behind him, that kept changing shape. And there was a brilliant part when an Arashi member who was on the screen comes and throws Nino up in the air. Nino files through the air, and then the real Nino appears in that spot and comes down on a cable. Then Aiba and Jun show up in some weird outfits and dance a little more.
Mada minu sekai he
Beautiful lights in the stadium, beautiful dance. But again, not like in the Kokuritsu concerts. They changed so many things for the January concerts...the dances, the outfits, the songs. I really hope Johnny's are going to release again 2 DVD's.
Love Rainbow
The japanese fans were especially hyper at this song *don't know why...maybe everyone loved Natsuniji?*
Troublemaker
Sho and Ohno were in opposite sides of the stadium, but it didn’t stopped them making the heart. The just split the stadium screen in half and united their heart ♥
Hadashi no mirai
They were again on the mini stages. Sho, Aiba and Nino passed in front of me and I freaked out so badly. I had to think fast which side of the uchiwa I'll show. So I chose Sho's, because it was too epic. But...he threw me that creepy look again!! still hoping it's my imagination Then I changed it on the Aiba side as fast as I could, but it was too late, he was already too far. And because of that I didn’t had time to look at Nino at all *pouts* damn you Sho
Sakura sake
Ohno went close to me on one of the mini stages. I could see those little beautiful eyes of his. But I couldn't enjoy it for long because he turned to the arena and kept waving at them forever...he actually did that almost every time he was in front of me. I must admit, I love that ass, but I really wanted to see his face.
The moving stage Jun was on stopped somewhere close to me and Jun decided to kill a fan. He leaned over the stage and started singing to a girl in the audience. He sang to her for like 15 seconds. The poor girl was stunned XD *damn jealous*
Then the ending greetings followed. Ohno said he can see hearts in our eyes XDD *well noticed, baby* Jun's speech touched me the most. He said that the concerts give him energy. That he wants us to remember the happy moments we had there until the next ones, and that he wants us to walk through life together with them. I started crying after this...
Hatenai Sora
I was already crying because of Jun, and it kept getting worse and worse because of this song. Also saw some girls crying in front of me and started even harder, haha. But my deep moment was interrupted at the end of the song when they threw silver ribbons all over the stadium. For the fans that don’t know , they look like this:

I've been a fan for a good while but never knew they throw stuff like this at the concerts. Couldn’t catch one at Osaka even though one almost fell on the top of my head T_T *the obaasan next to me stole it* . That's why I swore I’m gonna fight with all the old ladies and catch one at Nagoya no matter what it takes. So I forgot about my crying and went into fight-mode, but they didn’t fell at all in my area this time…*sigh*

A Day in our life
Like I always say, an Arashi concert isn’t a proper concert without this song. I was so happy to scream SOMEDAY with them ♥♥♥♥ Don't know how to describe the atmosphere during this song. JUST.PURE.BRILLIANCE. No Juntoshi moment at Nagoya, but there was one at Osaka. Ohno hugged Jun and wouldn't let him go. Jun started walking and Ohno was just holding his hips and walking behind him. BAKAS ♥ ( speaking of hugs, there was also a Matsumiya semi-hug at Osaka )

I was really surprised when I heard such an old song. it was awesome!
Kansha Kangeki Ame Arashi
Ohno did an adorkable I'M SMILE AGAIN!!! like he used to in the old DVDs <3 At the end of the song, they showed some pictures of Arashi that kept scrolling upwards. Each member had some doodles on his face. Ohno had some fishes and Kaibutsu-kun ♥ Forgot for the other members though, but their faces were so adorable ♥♥♥♥
Also remembered an Ohno moment from Osaka. He was on the mini stage, going down the stairs to return to the main stage, when the song started. So he popped his head back and sang "smile again, I'll smile again" then disappeared, and appeared again after a second to finish the line. Oh you baka ♥

Energy Song
They made Aiba say “yacchaimasu ka ne” <3 ( they made him say it twice at Osaka because it didn’t sounded like in the CD, haha ).And of course he said in the most baka possible voice. They jumped so hard during this song and made the dorkiest faces. The whole stadium went crazy.
And then....my dream ended. I cried after that in the shinkansen, in the train, in the station, after I got home, before going to sleep and next morning after waking up. I still cry when I hear bits of the concert, especially the Boku ga boku no subete opening ( I'm SOO grateful to the people that shared a recording...). Everything seemed unreal. I feel like I'm still in a dream even since I came back from the concerts. I don't even know when 2 weeks passed. All I have left to say is...
