GOD DAMN IT! MOTHERFUCKERS!!!!
I was in Florida for a week....missed shows because of this fact. I got to do my show last tuesday night only because I rented a hotel room so I could get net! Now, I get a show all set up, really hyper about doing it and what do I find out? Radio Darkness is doing a Day of Silence in support for internet radio that day. I AM PISSED!!!!!!!!! Hell, i only found out about this Day of Silence TODAY and then find out, "Oh, there is a Day of Silence on Tuesday, so you, who are the only DJ who does a show that day anyway, will be shit out of luck becuase we are going to join the band wagon and be silent too!"
*snarls* One thing to do something like this, but fuck all! Give the DJs some warning! Let us KNOW this shit is going down so we don't get all hyped for a show and then find out there is not going to BE a show because you decide that you are going to do something different.
I am starting to think, maybe it is time I find another radio station to work for. Radio Darkness is getting the point I am wondering fi the hassle is fucking worth it anymore.
And funniest thing of all is.....I had to come to LJ to post and rant about it because I can't post and rant about it on MySpace without having Darknessers bitch at me for being mad. I mean, yes, I think this would have been a great idea to do. Thing is, I am mad because I spent time and energy that could have been used elsewhere to make a show, get info, get music, etc....only to find out all that work is for naught. I am fucking glad I did not line up a guest like I had originally planned! I would then be fucking royally pissed and telling sire where he can shove his precious radio darkness.
