new hearts beating...

Oct 15, 2009 14:12

I didnae think he could go a day without it. But I am plesantly surprised that he stopped when he did.

Not everyone comes back from the dead so easily. Some routines may be a little too hard to slip back into instantly.

I've seen the bruises. They're nae natural.

I know the monster who did this to him. For anyone who is interested.

Child...it mar nay be something you want to hear.

Just that dunnae let your heart race around him. Other self or no, he is not normal. And it's my fault that I couldnae stop it from happening.

I'm not a child!

I don't care. Whatever it is, he's half of me, what happens to him affects me, and I want to do whatever I can to make sure he's happy.

...I cannot control my heartbeat any more than I can a blush or my love of games. I don't care about normal. He's never been normal-- nor am I normal.

What's done is done. I only want to help... please...

Watch your pulse carefully, young one. And there is nae an offence meant by that.

Why not ask your husband instead of me? He knows just as well as me. It doesnae seem my place to tell YOU, but rest assured that the creature responsible for this is being punished.

What creature??

Maybe-- maybe he or she didn't mean to hurt him. Is-- is punishment really what he deserves?

Yuugi Motou Kaiba.

Look to Seto. Look to Atem.

There may not have been an intention to hurt your love, but there has been injury. There has been death and heartbreak. There should be more of a punishment than what is being done.

But if it was unintentional--! No one deserves a punishment over what he could not control, what he did not mean. No matter what... forgiveness should always be free.
