(no subject)
Day two of Orientation Leader training was awesome. And exhausting. I climbed a wall! And I was out in the sun for longer than ten seconds!!! My poor, pasty skin was so shocked by the change of scenery that it coped to the best of its ability, meaning it burned instantly. My face hurts [because it's killing you. Har har har.] and is currently auditioning for the role of a basket of tomatoes in a play I just made up. It's called "This Isn't Even a Play at All, Go The Heck Home." I'm certain that I will rake in the billions after the first showing.
Man, after this day of actually moving around, I reeeeeeeeally want some food. Not more freakin' granola bars, at least. I've decided that what I am precicely craving is: A lychee bubble tea with lychee jelly, a slice of Grotto[or Café Riviera, or maybe even one from each]'s pizza with mushrooms on it. I would add whatever I wanted, which would probably be pepper and parmesan cheese on one, and italian seasoning and/or hot pepper flakes on the other. And I would also like some french fries and ketchup, but like..... diner fries. You know, the really thick, flat ones that are always crunchy and horrible for you. I might even go for some of that fake melted cheese, just to top it all off. Because right now, I really want some of that food that's just horrible for you, but tastes so damned good.
Unfortunately, I'm pretty much stuck with granola bars. Lame. I could make some pasta or something, but it's just not the same; it would be far too wholesome and home-made.
Somebody needs to get the hell out here so I can justify buying a full pizza. And afford it, too. My feet hurt too much to bother with finding an ATM, and then walking to the Pine Street Pizza place, waiting for forever until my food is ready, and then walking back home. Screw that, I'm just going to dream and let my stomach rumble. Rumble rumble. Rumble.
Tomorrow we go to Dorney Park for a while, in the afternoon. Word. I really need some sunscreen. And pants.
Also, unless I'm wrong, today is Emily's birthday. Say happy birthday to her, if you reply. the_efaf
