Your answers are fascinating to me. I love learning new things about your beliefs, so I'm glad you posted this. While I'm a Christian, I see a lot of the Divine in nature -- I personally believe it reflects my Christian God's attention to detail and creativity and love of beauty -- but I find it interesting that you and I can have dissimilar beliefs, but similar reactions to things. I talk to my trees all the time, and this summer I've been nurturing my two grapevines with a lot of talking to them and love and attention. I've even been known to kiss a few of their tiny, velvety leaves. They seem to like it, as they've both grown about six feet this year. :)
Is the concept of anam cara bound to reincarnation? I am not sure I personally believe in reincarnation, but I love the idea of finding people who travel on your journey with you through this life, at least. I've seen the phrase before, but mostly on jewelry and such, which is why I ask.
