Oh I liked this, very much so! Voyer!Slade is pretty much canon and the idea of Dick being personally insulted with Bruce and Wally like that is just so touching. Lovely fic!

I think Slade has learned that blackmail won't get him what he really wants. He might get Dick for a time, but Dick will always be looking for a way out from under, and will always be able to say that he had no choice.

My Slade wants Dick to take that final step willingly. And he'll apply whatever (subtle) pressure is necessary to get that outcome. ;)

I like your Slade. He's very intense. I would really love to know what he thought of Dick becoming Batman. I would love to know what Roy thought about what he saw on the rooftop OR what he thought about Flash and Slade.

Right now, I don't know what I think about Dick becoming Batman. I haven't been in the DCU fandom for much more than a month yet, so I have a lot of catching up to do.

I'm so glad! I fretted about getting the voices just right, and then smacked myself because they speak in speech bubbles. So then I did some hardcore revision on Slade (and gods, that man's been busy!), and then I started typing and Dick started wriggling about under Slade, and... :D

IThe ass-slap was entirely Slade's idea. ;)

(So, as I said to Kitty, I now have two twisted, obsessive, possessive men stalking their boytoys. What fun!)
