went to the late night showing of RENT with linh, my roomate, and my suitemate...
we were standing at the uva bustop at 2 something in the morning and there were people retreating from rugby road (if you wanna go to a party, you go to rugby road...greek life). they were stumbling, one was being held up by the other two and guided along. they were sweaty and swaying. i just watched as swarms of them were calling it a night and walking back home.
it was one of the scariest things i've ever seen.
i was repulsed by what goes on and how these kids could let themselves become this way.
i was curious as to how it felt, what it would be like.
i felt obliged to try it...almost forced to do it.
