went to the spring concert
i just needed to see it one more time
one more "fame"
just one more.
i watched them dance with the arm motions and kicks
i watched a trio of girls in the audience giggle and whisper some
just like me, trisha, and click click used to
i cried during the senior song
billy's whole family was up there
and they all knew the words and sang together
all my chorus friends
all going to different places
and i'll probably never see them again
chris, sarah scott, schuyler, ryan, and eden were in the center singing
i pictured me, click click, trisha, and billy there
holding close
realizing that soon
my best friends will be gone
and wondering if we'll stay close
stay BFFE and TS Pro forever
and realizing what will probably happen...
i came out sniffling
and drove home
with one thought...
