Short lived
So, today I went to band practice at 12:00, well, technically went to a friend's house who is in the band first, only to find out that practice was moved to 6:00. I was not informed, possibly because I was in Montreal, but I couldn't get a hold of anyone to make sure everything was still on, so whatever. Now, since it was moved to 6, our singer could not make it, and me and the other guitarist had to learn the song at Anthony's house because he had the magazine with the tabs in it and it was the only time we could look at it. Of course, from there everything sort of fell apart I guess, and we aren't performing anymore, which really blows ass. I'm actually really disappointed because I was looking forward to it, and even though I think I suck, I still like to play with others and perform, and when stuff gets cancelled it really disappointes me.
Well, to cheer me up my friend showed me that Japanese teenager who plays the Super Mario Themes with his guitar, all sound effects included (and when I mean all, I mean All). It was one of the coolest things ever, and I really suggecst you guys check it out. It's really cool, and we watched some of the prank calls, and made some of our own. Friendly ones though, like, people we are good friends with and what not. It was funny.
So, that was my day, pretty crappy unforetunately, and not exactly how I wanted to end off my Easter. At least tommorow Kill Bill Vol.1 comes out, and I have some newly recieved birthday money from my aunt which I will use on that and probably another movie, so I guess that is something to look up to.
