Relaxation time

Hey everyone. Well, I finished my exams, now I have a couple of days to myself to do what I want. Let's see, the "To Do list":
1.Finally start New Game Plus in Final Fantasy X-2 (so I can get 100% storyline)
2.Play lots of bass
3.Finally draw a couple of pictures
4.Hopefully buy my Gamecube
5.Hopefully go see Lord of the Rings: Return of the King
I think that is about it. It will take up my time, but I'm happy that I'm done and get back to doing things I love. My stupid French teacher did screw up my exam though. She switched two sections around, for example. We had to read a story and answer questions, and after there were two sections that were to find the contrary and synonyms for certain words in the story; well, the words that were supposed to be found as synonyms were put in the contrary section, and vise versa. Thus, the entire class was wondering what the hell is going on, but of course, the exam is in the gym so out teacher wasn't there as one of the supervisors, and yeah. The class just has to speak to her on Turn-around day I guess.
Well, I had to beat FFX-2 again yesterday because I wanted to refresh my memory about the ending before I start playing the New Game Plus. You know, the game is like Final Fantasy meets Charlie's Angels, but you just can't take away from the actual storyline and game play, and it's just such a magnificent game. And it actually surprised me last night. I was playing through, and at one point there is this scene with Shinra, and he is saying how we was studying data from the Farplane while Yuna and the others were down there. He said that there is a limitless amount of energy, and it can most likely be sucked up and converted into energy to power cities and the world, which will end up drastically changing Spira. This stirred my mind about, as I relieved some wonderful memories of Final Fantasy VII, and he mentioned "sucking up the energy and converting it to power cities", I remembered the city Midgar, which sucked up the energy from the Lifeforce to power it's city. I found this ironic, even more since the Farplane is basically the equivalent of the Lifestream. After, Shinra said that it would take generations to do so, and Yuna breaks in and says "Wow, a city with constant power from the Farplane..A city the never sleeps.." This just blew my frigen mind, I literally stopped the game to think..What the fuck did she just say.., mainly because Midgar was considered the city that never sleeped, since it was always so busy and always had energy, etc. And, I was just surprised because I didn't think the world of FFX-2 had anything to do with worlds from other Final Fantasy's, but now I'm really contemplating if they do, if this was done purposely, or if it's just a coincidence. I just thought I would mention it because it surprised me as a Final Fantasy fan, and I thought it would get you other FF fans to think a bit too. Now, all I have to do is compare their world maps, because some parts do look slightly similar, but I never took a good look.

Ok, I think I'm done for today, I just wanted to mention my findings. I'll leave you with the lyrics to Sen no Kotoba or 1000 Words in English; it is one of the main songs from FFX-2, and I think it sounds very beautiful, although it is relatively sad. (I'd do it in Japanese, but it's a pain to translate). 1000 Words
I know that you lied to me
Using just your words to shatter me
Your words are like a dream
But dreams could never fool me
It's not right to me...

I'm acting so distant now
Turned my back as you walked away
But I was listening
That you fight your battles far from me
It's not right to me...

"Don't you worry 'cause I come back."
I could hear you speaking as you walked through the door
I acted strong to hide the pain when I turned back the pages
Crying out a windy answer
What if I shed my tears and begged you not to leave?

But now I'm not afraid
To do what's in my heart...

Those thousand words have never been spoken
So far away I'm sending them to you wherever you are
Suspended on shiny wings

Those thousand words have never been spoken
They'll treasure you, make you no longer dare seem
So far away, and hold you forever

That dream isn't over yet
I pretend and say, "I can't forget."
I still live in my day
You've been there with me all the way
It's not right of me...

"Don't you worry 'cause I'll write to you."
I could see you speaking as you looked away
I acted strong to hide the love when I turned back the pages
Anger might've been the answer
But if I shook my head and said that I can't wait

But now I'm not afraid
To do what's in my heart...

Those thousand words have never been spoken
So far away I'm sending them to you wherever you are
Suspended on shiny wings

Those thousands words have never been spoken
They'll treasure you, make you no longer dare seem
So far away and hold you forever

Those thousand words have never been spoken
La la la la
I'm sending them to you wherever you are
Suspended on shiny wings

Those thousands words have never been spoken
La la la la
Make you no longer here feel like calling me
La la la la...
