As written by my mom...
Cabbage Patch Stew
1 head cabbage (cut so that they are in strips)
6 stalks celery (Chopped)
1 Onion (Chopped)
1 lb. Ground beef or Ground Turkey
1 can B&M baked beans
1 can whole peeled tomatoes
You need two frying pans. In one, place about a tablespoon of butter (or you can use oil) cook cabbage, celery and onion until opaque. In second frying pan cook up ground beef/ground turkey. Drain. Add can of baked beans, stir. Take whole tomatoes and crush with hands and put in with meat and beans. (liquid included) Simmer for about 10-15 minutes over low heat. Lastly, combine ingredients from both pans. This dish is actually sweet tasting and my kids loved it! Really good on a cool fall day with biscuits
