oops...
I realized that I cannot remember the last time I made a real post...
And this still is not one, as it is close to midnight and I have work in the morning.
But to quickly update...
I miss everyone at faire. I miss faire as well. Life back in the real world is too ordinary, and I miss all the extraordinary people I gave up so many weekends to be with. Sometimes it feels like my regular life is in black and white and I miss the technicolor of Oz.
Work is going as well as it can. I always find subbing tough because I am constantly reminded that I dont have a classroom of my own, Im just a guest in someone elses. This long term position is worse because I dont even have a classroom! I wander the school, taking small reading groups out into the hall or library to work. Pulling bread out of the freezer at the end of the day when the forgetful and frantic lunch lady calls the principals cell phone. Playing para to a pretty little girl in a wheelchair. Taking pre-school children to a pumpkin patch. So the randomness is fun, but I still long for my own class, less random, but still never predictable.
Enough for now...bed time.
