Dr. McNinja Watches the Watchmen

So I saw the Watchmen movie yesterday. (Finally.) It was awesome, though I think having only finished reading the book two days before might have made me more likely to notice every tiny thing that was different. However, overall, it was insanely close to the comic. I wish more movies would be like that. I actually like the movie's ending better (it seemed more realistic), but I kind of wish they focused a little more on the normal people, possibly less time on the government people. I know they had to cut Tales of the Black Freighter for time reasons, and I don't at all mind that they cut it, but I think they could have shown at least a little of the newspaper vendor and the kid reading the comic book. Watching Patrick Wilson, though, was highly amusing, even without his ridiculous Phantom wig. What's even funnier is that Gerard Butler narrates Tales of the Black Freighter in the animated movie thing they released. I have a feeling this is starting to be disjointed and not make sense. Whatever.

On a side note, Dr. McNinja is, like, the embodiment of awesome. He is freaking amazing. One of the few webcomics I actually bother to take the time to read. I mean, he's a doctor who's also a ninja, has a twelve year old sidekick who grew a mustache out of sheer willpower, a gorilla receptionist, a pet dinosaur, and he's got a thing for Batman. What about that does not scream awesome?

(I need to do my math test! Agh!)
