Obama!
It's Inauguration Day! Yay! Bush is finally gone and we have someone who's actually fairly intelligent and hopefully much more competent! And he's the first black President, too. This is pretty freaking awesome. As my Latin teacher said this morning, you can hear the planes taking off- back to Texas. Finally. I'm excited. Hopefully the next four years will be better than the last eight.
I actually missed Obama's speech this morning (it happened to be at the same time as I was going to school), but we recorded it, so I'll probably end up watching it tonight or later or something. Also, four day weekends (technically three days, I suppose) are great. Even though I bruised my foot or sprained it or something on Friday night and have been limping around since, it was still nice to take a break. Also (again), tonight's American Idol auditions are in San Francisco. This should be very interesting...
