ELECTION!
OMIGOD OBAMA WON! THIS IS CRAZY! I AM MENTALLY FREAKING OUT SOOO MUCH RIGHT NOW, BUT AM NOT ACTUALLY LETTING IT SHOW BECAUSE MY ANNOYED REPUBLICAN FATHER IS SITTING ABOUT THREE FEET AWAY AND NOT SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW. HENCE, I AM TYPING IN CAPSLOCK.
Okay, now to normal. Wow, I'm partially in disbelief. I mean, I know he was ahead in the polls and everything, but I still wasn't sure. It seemed like everyone was just assuming he was going to win, but I didn't want to jump to conclusions in case things didn't work out. Well, things worked out! It is a little hard right now to not jump up and down and freak out like everyone they're showing at the parties on TV. Oh my God, this is just crazy. Wow. Just, wow. Wow. Now it's officially President Obama. Man, that will probably take some getting used to. Hey, at least we're finally getting rid of Bush!
In other news (aka I'm trying to calm myself down by distracting myself), my nano novel is...going. Apparently I was about 1000 words behind yesterday (4118 as compared to the goal of 5000 for a steady amount of words a day to reach 50,000), but I still think I'm doing pretty well. More than 1000 words a day! I haven't written very much today, though. I just need to force myself to not focus on the internet and just write whatever.
