Really quite impressive tech demo
Ran across this on one of my more technicallly artistic inclined webcomics. It's a demo of a program technique for dynamic resizing of images whilst protecting what the image appears to show.
Really quite clever in it's methods of identifying which bits of the image we don't really look at and removing them. Also got some moderately scary shots towards the end where they blend people out of images - the rez isn't really high enough to see if the artifacting is noticable but it looks fairly seemless from what they've shown.
