Life and general tiredness

The first week back, and it already feels like end of semester. If I'm busy working on my assignment, which is due on the 12th of March, I'm busy working on report, which is due around the end of March; and if not both of them, then on the summary I'm meant to hand in on the 12th too, and on my project proposal, which is meant to be handed in around the 23rd of March.

In any case, it feels so damn busy for the beginning of the semester. And that is not including the exhaustion plaguing me. For some reason, on the first couple of days I had insomnia and got around five hours of sleep. Then, I just became so tired... But thankfully, Friday came and then I got nearly twelve hours of catch-up sleep, which is making me feel pretty good.

Now, I'm off working on my damn report. Before then though, I went through the whole season of this new anime series Avatar: The Last Airbender which is surprisingly good. I mean, I hadn't expected it to because this is the US version of anime, but it really is. The themes aren't as mature as Bleach or Naruto, but it is really close and it doesn't shy away from the dark themes surrounding the war, which I enjoyed. The characters are particularly well-developed and nuanced, and the villains aren't quite the villains in some aspects (for example, Suko and his Uncle Iroh), and they even turn out to be sympathetic, particularly Suko who struggles to find a way back from banishment and back to his father, who was the one that scarred him in a duel. The fight scenes really interesting (and I do mean that). They take the use of elements and the use of martial arts and really make it graceful and fluid, and very original.

university is traumatic, they call it work experience, animanga: avatar
