New Naruto
Chapter 245 is up and I am totally excited about the new teenaged
characters now. I can't wait to see Sasuke. Naruto and his Perverted
ninjutsu. *snicker* And Kakashi with his new book. It was quite
an...obvious analogy. Nevertheless, I was kinda charmed by it. Whether
it was because I was missing Naruto or because I'm excited by the new character arcs, I'm not sure. Either way, yay!
Okay. And because I haven't recced anything today, I'll do it now.
First rec (from the Naruto fandom) is At The End Of All Things by Silvaren. It's an interesting what-could-have-been, and I really, really like the somewhat dark atmosphere. Summary: In the end, Sasuke comes home. (SasuNaru).
Second rec (original fiction, and yes, I do read non-fanfic things): Game Over by Aphrael. It has an original premise, a wonderfully non-Mary Sue female character, and shounen-ai. The main character, Shane, is amusing as heck. Summary: Life becomes a lot more complicated for Shane McMurray after he accidentally agrees to be a player in a very real and dangerous game. And there isn't any easy way out of it, either. (slash)
