Eh...nothing new
Well, nothing much done; writing's going to be on hold while I sort out some stuff in RL. I've started loving the Everwood fandom as well as the show. Bright is so hee, and Ephram is broody. I like their interactions so darn much.
And to rec a fic that's totally got their characters right that I have a hard time believing it didn't happen: Messing with the Universe by pennyproud (who used to be Miss Windy). It even begins off with the funny:
Ephram heard more chatter on the other end of the line and asked, "What the hell are you doing at my house, anyway?"
"Free food, free cable, free Internet... It beats life guarding."
"Are you serious? Don't tell me my dad lost his last brain cell and hired you as the babysitter?"
"No, I'm just doing him a favor. You got a problem with that?"
"Well-"
"What, just 'cause I'm a guy means I wouldn't be good at looking after a kid? You're sexist, Ephram."
Ephram couldn't help the laughter that spilled out of him at that. "No, actually, come to think of it, I think you're probably ideal. What with my sister being ten physically, and you being ten mentally."
