Seriously, people need to not be dumb. *Fantasizes about a world where people make a conscious effort to not be dumb* Ahh...that would be nice. It's not happening, but how cool would be that be?
When I witness people giving bad advice to a friend of mine, should I say something? Either a friend follows bad advice, or the person whose advice I say is not good gets extremely offended. This person giving the advice is also kinda dumb. Just wanted to point that out for the record =).

People who don't know what they're talking about and aren't dealing with their own lives well shouldn't be giving advice to others. It's just not smart (which may explain why they're doing it, I suppose.......?)

Also, on a more personal note, I just want to point out that uncontrollable circumstances really, REALLY suck. Gotta hate 'em.
If my parents don't let me get Fox (the dog in the puppy store that I desperately want, more than I've ever wanted any dog [with the exception of Misty]), I will not forgive them for a long time. They've explained their reasons, which are quite frankly absolutely ridiculous. I've explained to them why their reasons are unfounded and irrational, but they refuse to listen to a word I say. I'm not surprised by this since my mother is involved (she is an absolute bitch, for anyone who does not know her), but it doesn't make it any easier. I feel this indescribable need to have this specific dog...a need that will most likely go unfulfilled since my mother is a stubborn bitch who can't discern between what makes sense and what doesn't.
