Spider-Man 3

I remember the time I couldn't wait for May 4, 2007. And now it's finally here, come and gone. I was stoked for Spider-Man 2 a couple of years ago, and I was even more stoked for 3.

Went to the midnight showing on Thursday/Early Friday. At the height of snticipation, sitting there waiting for the movie, in a tight crowd of people, I was prepared to enjoy myself.

I knew that it wouldn't turn out as good as the previews made it, because 2 didn't do that either. When I saw it the first time and on repeated viewings it had a lot of boring parts, but overall it was enjoyable and good.

Seeing this one after the previews, was not a disappointment. It was a lot different than the first 2, as a matter of fact, its surprising that all 3 were directed by the same person. The action in it pretty much combined what the amount was in the first 2 as well as the villains. The first and second had a pretty straight story, where the 3rd had subplots and different things going on that more than one movie could have. It had everything: action, humor, seriousness, drama, dark aspects, light aspects, etc.

It did not get the perfect reviews expected, of course, but it's always complaining about things that all movies should have, when movies need to be looked at differently relating to their content.

That being said, I enjoyed it and was not disappointed at all. My only complaint was everybody else's main one and also that it didn't go longer. Long live Spider-Man.
