My internet sucks so bad. I hate living in the suburbs sometimes.
Called into work yesterday, goofed off with Joey. Saw Hills Have Eyes. I enjoyed it. I'm biased against movies like this, with all the remakes being done, but I guess the first time around we didn't have enough gore or scenes with girls listening to ipods or padded bras. Movie-wise though it was well done. The "monsters" were not as hard to look at as I thought they'd be, so I didn't really avoid looking at anyone, I got a weakness for deformities, stemmed from seeing a kid when I was a young have an arm that looked like a noose you hang someone with. None of the scenes really bothered me, even the extremely graphic one, or the sick totally uncalled for one aimed at both of the girls' fate. Expected one but not the other. Movie is weird. However, very well acted by everyone, and the characters were very interesting to watch, especially the father of the baby. Everything done was very believable and realistic. Well as much as can be expected.
The horror movie remakes are almost comparable to the likes George Lucas' Star Wars editing. At least he didn't film his whole movies over again.
Come back to work today, literally waste 2 hours sitting in my car on the clock, then to work and I barely do anything before a break, lunch, break, and time to go home.
I can't wait to see V.
