Back to the grind..
Back to "work". Had a little bit of fun. She returned today and instead of having to catch up because almost a week was lost, we went at the same pace, probably slower. We had to get in groups and do improv today. I made the trainer laugh with my mad skillz. Heh. She also touched me. I laid my head down this morning and she could've just poked me, or yelled in my ear. But no, full palm on back for like 2 secs. Even a little rub for good measure. Mmmm.
When my group got done with the skit, we made the whole class laugh and miss teacher looked at me laughing for what seemed like forever. Going out of my way to make a fool of myself in front of practically strangers was like I had open her eyes showing that I existed. Then we all started talking, and the subject of a company picnic came up and she said she was going with her boyfriend.....who works there. Who I'd seen and talked to.
And my hot air balloon of delight deflated.
Life is funny. Yeah, life is real funny. However, the same old joke gets really old.
