Hot for teacher...
So, today started day one of my training. Not too bad, met some new people, had a few laughs. Got to know the place a bit. Quite a bit different from Teletech.
Well, I got there at 7:15 and the first thing I see when I walk through is a white girl dressed in black and white(that'll be funny in a minute) coming through the hallway. A very attractive white girl. She either a)already works here or b)is in my class. I get a little more excited when she walks into our classroom...then to the front..then writes her name on the board. She's the trainer. I'll be damned. I look around, no sir, not one other white person in the room. So, for the rest of the day it was white me and my white trainer amongst a sea of black folk. Funny thing the two whiteys are the same age. She looks like a sorority girl, tall, fit, and sort of peppy. She's never married, no kids, once pregnant, but had a stillborn. She has a defect somewhere that wont let her carry a pregnancy..at least not on the first try...and sure enough, her dream is to one day become a mother. Sad, but she's so sweet and she's funny, and I'm already looking forward to spending five weeks here.
We had to do all these activities to get to know everyone. One was making a poster. I let my art skills go to work and kick everyone else's posters' ass. Then going around the room meet and greet, "Hi, I'm Mr. White, how are you Mr./Mrs. Black?" Of course getting to know my trainer was fun.
Her name is Rachel, I won't let that deter me for reasons you wouldn't expect.
To sum it all up, I met the perfect girl today. What can I do about it?
