One of my roommie's exes is amazingly out of touch with reality. He's not blameless, but she earned the cold shoulder she gets.
Moreover, it's just not that hard to figure out that you don't ask someone to tell his roommate that the roommate is an asshole. Even if I were to ever agree with that opinion, it would be fundamentally stupid to pass such a message along.
