Life as I know it
It's amazing where time goes. I'm really stunned every time I come on here and how infrequent I update and I see where I was the last time I posted. In general, my time online has been very minimal. If I told myself that a few years I wouldn't believe it, I used to spend endless hours on the computer talking to people, reading stories, looking at art, playing games. Now I'm on here when I have online homework and just to chat with one or two people.
I applied to four State Universities a while ago. San Jose, Fullerton, East Bay and Long Beach. East Bay is really my only safe option, I know I can get in there. I won't know until February where I'll get into though. I ideally would like to move somewhere out of the area, I feel like it's time for me to live on my own. Even if it means living with other students in student housing. I'd also reaaaally want to keep my current job, I've now been working for TJ's for 2 years. Fullerton has like 3 Trader Joe's close to the campus, if I could transfer to one that would be awesome. My commute would actually be shorter than what it is now. XD
I'm not planning on taking any classes next semester, just work more hours and actually have a life. I want to work on a portfolio, maybe some writing, I want to go to Fanime, see my boyfriend in Louisiana. Just need to pass my Statistics class this semester and I'm all set. Today I calculated what my current grade in the class is, it's about 85%. Let's hope it stays in that range...
My other classes are going alright. I'm enjoying Creative Writing like I did the last time I took it. Yesterday I completed my rough draft of my short story, and today I began to read it over and add to it. My group members will give me feedback tomorrow. My current Design class is going very well, unlike when I took it with a different teacher Summer 2010. Also taking Elementary Spanish 1 and enjoying it a lot, it gives me hope that I can actually learn a foreign language.
Dunno if anyone saw the last post I did on here, but I now write letters to pen pals now! Been doing it since July and would love to actually write to you guys as well. I can't really think of anything else to write here...
