I like how on dA it says on my profile:

Haha no thanks, I'm not that desperate to decorate my journal. That's pretty much the only reason to get one anymore. Back in the day comments, journals and deviations were just links. Getting a subscription was for getting rid of ads and receiving comment and deviation previews. Also you got those fill in sections in your journal like what mood you're in and what you're eating. Now? They give you all that, you still get ads but that's not really a big deal. Also prints were only for paid members, now everyone can do that too although they get less money than paid members.
