2 More Weeks
Well, I saw Madonna on Wednesday night. And you know what? I love her even more. XD This was her Confessions Tour, so she sang songs on her latest album 'Confessions on a Dancefloor' but she also sang a few other songs with dancy-mix music. Now out of all the concerts I've been to, (Sarah Brightman, Phil Collins, The New Cars + Blondie) Madonna made the best use of the stage. She had props coming from the ceiling, her backup dancers were fucking amazing. They even wore rollerskates and skated on the stage during one song.
Her entrance was just awesome, a giant disco ball came down on the middle of the stage, and it opened up with her in it! She was wearing a horse rider outfit, and her dancer manslaves were acting as kinky horses. She sang 'Like a Virgin' while sitting on what looked like a saddle on a merry-go-round pole, and yes it even moved in a circle. When she sang 'Music', the lights were black and red and just really awesome. She came out wearing a white suit and she did the Saturday Night Fever dance. XD 'Isaac' was just hot, she saved 'Hung Up' for last.
OH! And when she sang 'I Love New York', she added something to the lyrics. XDD

The bolded is obviously the 'added' bit. Yes, she really did say that, it was PRICELESS.
It was really interesting how different my interpretation of her songs were from her take. Like 'Forbidden Love', I couldn't believe I didn't see the meaning of it. She was refering to homosexuals. She even had hot shirtless guys on the stage. ;D
After the concert, my sister disappeared and went off to buy something, she and I got a purple sweatband with an 'M' on it. :D
Well I was gonna make this an art post as well, but this journal has gotten too long, tomorrow maybe. ^^
