Oh Yeah...
I just remembered something i meant to post yesterday...
So when I woke up Friday morning and did my usual internet checks (e-mail, gmail, mugglenet, woo-mail) I got side tracked off the bat by an e-mail from Enter the Haggis stating that their new Live album has been released! I was soooooo excited, so I friended them on myspace and ran off to class. When I got back I had time to actually read the e-mail and turns out they're only selling it at their shows for the first few months which means I will have to wait until June to get it *tear*
I cannot wait to see them this summer! They're playing in Cleveland on the 21st of June which is two days before I go to "Bagpipe camp" (also known as the Ohio Scottish Arts School) So I won't be forced to miss them like I was the last time they played in Ohio. The 6th episode is scheduled to air the Monday before the concert, so once I get back from bagpipe camp I'll still have a week to record the show. I'll probably have to set things up with the co-host and get the set list put together before going to camp but we'll see.
And in regard to the comments made to me in person by Chalkey... Yes, I know the font and text color to the song lyrics is different than normal, that's because when I said "Time to type up the lyrics" I went and typed them up in open office and then copy and pasted them. I had to change the font color otherwise it wouldn't have shown up against my background on my LJ...
Why does it smell like woodsmoke in the hallway?
Oh, something else...I got a review on one of my fanfics today from a listener of the Podcast of Awesome! I tried e-mailing her but it got bounced back twice :( She was just randomly browsing through fanfics, happened to read "One Person" and then read my profile where I happened to mention the Podcast of Awesome. The fun part is that she actually IMed me about the first episode a while ago. Personally I think this is pretty awesome, because my LiveJournal and Fanfiction.Net sites are linked to each other and I've never mentioned my dabbles in fanfiction writing on the PoA myspace page so it's not like I've been promoting my fanfiction on that site. It really can be a small world sometimes... Also I took the time to read two or three of my one shots and have come to the conclusion that I am a poor excuse for an English Major. This summer I'm going over all my posted fics (including the "Transforming Thoughts" and it's beast of a sequel) and editing them and getting rid of the typos. Because normally I just post them with little editing (aka whatever the spell checker catches as I go along).
Right, back to the books...
