For those of you that don't know, College of Wooster is a small, private Liberal Arts school. A rather conservative Liberal Arts school, but a Liberal Arts school nonetheless. (I know I just used "Liberal Arts school" three times) So today after my Medieval Literature class I head to Lowry, the student center, to check my mail like normal. However at the cross walk in front of the building I am greeted by a crowd of people shouting, passing out condoms, handing out flyers and holding signs. With signs such as "Pro-Choice is Pro-Life" "Keep your Bible off of my body" and "Support Cake! Down with pie!" (wtf?) it was a little amusing. Then there's the girl waving a condom in the air, a guy in a planned parenthood tee-shirt playing with a condom balloon and an old guy telling you you're not a monkey.
I think the most amusing part was passing Grace and Sarah... "If I had a voice, I'd tell them I like girls," Sarah managed to whisper. While Grace had a speech prepared. I managed to keep myself uninvolved (somehow) and just turned up the volume on my MP3 player ("The Weapon We Have is Love" by HatP fyi) and kept walking.
Oh Wooster... What will I do over the summer without thee?
