Because I didn't research properly...
Because I didn't research properly, I'm a fool... So I got a free 90 day trial for the web hosting site I use for the show, and it doesn't have enough memory for me to host two full length episodes at once (only 40 mb a month!) And because I'm just a poor college student with an addiction to paypal buttons on wizard rockers' sites I'm not paying to upgrade (because it's a really crap deal). That and I want people to be able to listen and download previous episodes (and the files are too big to post here on myspace, trust me, I've tried).
So what does this mean? It means I am switching servers and everyone that is subscribed to the current server at libsyn.com but have set things up with itunes so that everyone should not have to resubscribe. I'm recording a trailer tonight announcing the co-hosts for the next show and will post it on the old server and the new as a trial run of sorts, so if it downloads twice for some of you I apologize. The new, free server has unlimited bandwidth and storage space but includes a 10 second ad in each episode which will be located at either the beginning or the end of each show (as of now, I'm thinking the end).
I have fixed things in itunes (I hope) but if you're still having trouble subscribing enter the following link in the "Subscribe to Podcast" option under the "Advanced" tab.

AAARRRGGGGHHHHHHHHH.....it was rather tricky getting that blasted thing set up and it sure as hell better work or I just might cry myself to sleep tonight lol... In other news, I got my Oliver Boyd and the Rememberalls album today good cause for a squee. I can't wait 'til this weekend when mum comes and brings me the Whomping Willows cd which shipped there earlier this week. That brings the wait list down to The Mudbloods, DJ Luna Lovegood, Hollow Godric (just ordered in the wee hours of the morning). Both DJ Luna and the Mudbloods were on my last statement, I just haven't received the albums yet... so I guess it's good I had them mailed to the house rather than here I would have hated to have them mailed here when I'm not.
In other news, my roomy's best friend's father works at Virginia Tech where the shootings were this morning. Scary, but he's okay. I wonder how the attacks there will affect us here. Tightened security no doubt. Yes, we're a safe campus, yes everyone believes it couldn't happen to us, and yes, we're all fools. Oh, and there is no way there was only one shooter. Where was he for the three hours between shootings? Starbucks? (I have to give credit to whoever said that out in the hallway a little bit ago...)
I've got to go stop making a liar out of myself and work on that history paper like my away message says. I just wanted to get that off my chest...
