I amuse me sometimes...
So yesterday I sent a text to Tomoo along the following; I miss you like a puppy misses his owner while he's away from school. Upon returning I'll run to greet you at the bus stop, jump on you, lick your face and race you home. Then I will ignore you until dinner time while you do your homework...
Personally I thought it was funnier than using a cat analogy: meet you at the door, flop, let me pet you, get up, walk away and ignore you until I want something.
On another note, I got a phone call from Tomoo as I was getting out of Mike's truck at the paint shop. He sounded giggly and sweet "guess what I made today?!" after playing basketball with the kids he came in to cool off, not wanting to go back outside he decided to stick around and make crafts with the kids. So he made a picture frame out of Popsicle sticks and macaroni noodles. One side is painted Gryfindork colors, the other Slytherin, the bottom says pipers are hot and the top says Ashley+Tomoo... I think that's one of the sweetest if not corniest things anyone has done for me lately. That little story and getting to hear his voice totally made my day :)
