Time Capsule.
At the end of February I moved to Arizona to continue/finish my college education and really make a start at life. As I was settling in it seemed the whole world was in a state of flux. So...I figured I'd make a memory list of sorts. :)
While I was getting a start in Arizona...
- Ash Ketchum moved halfway across the Poke-world and to start a new Pokemon journey in the Unova region.
-Pokemon Black and White came out.
-Charlie Sheen was losing his kids, and what was left of his alcohol-soaked, drug-addled brain, all the while declaring that he was 'winning.'
-A rather large area of the Middle East were overthrowing their leaders and demanding change.
-Petrol prices started soaring just as I got stuck with a car that was not only a petrol-hog, but knocked horribly if it wasn't fed MIDGRADE.
-Japan was devastated by an earthquake and tsunami, as were several surrounding countries.
- I saw Rocky Horror live for the first time with my best friends.
- I learned very quickly that many people are weak-minded, and become jealous of success rather than supportive of any you might find because they either fear it, fear they'll never have it, or know they're too weak to work for it.
- I found out who my friends weren't.
- I found out who my friends ARE.
- I finally found some decent workspace with which to rebuild my business.
- My NASCAR driver not broke a nasty winless streak, he broke that streak in my new home city. :)
- My home rink rose from the rubble and ashes.
- I got an iPhone.
- I went to my first Steampunk con.
- My creativity returned in spades.
