...ow.
Yesterday at work I went running along the back bench because I needed to get my boss, and it was really kinda urgent. I slipped on some water, and my feet went out from under me and SMASHED my entire left side into the bench. I have a bruise on my hip, my arm, and my shoulder. I'm super glad this is my last day of work, because it isn't going to be pleasant. I'm kinda hoping Rob will just keep me in the skate shack, I don't really think I'm up to skate guard today(and heaven help any ill-behaved child who throws a snowball/sits on the walkers/kicks holes in the ice if I am skate guard).
That being said, I'm sad my job is ending and I wish the rink were open longer. It has been a good job, and I got lucky enough to have awesome coworkers and a really awesome boss(how many bosses do you know who bring you pizza for lunch?). It has been chaotic at times, but still fun nonetheless. Plus, I have the move to Arizona to look forward too. I'll be closer to my friends and family and I'll finally be home.
