...or this semester going by way faster than it has any right to? I expected it to go by fast and all (not quite that naive, thank you very much,) but it's already midterms, and that's just plain ridiculous.
This is the part where, could I bring myself to be super sentimental online at such an early date, I would go on and on about how much I'm going to miss my friends next year.
....
But anyway.
Spring Break starts on Monday for me, after I finish a stupid paper on a book that's impossible to write about (why do I always choose those for Trousdale classes? To the Lighthouse, "The Wasteland" and now Catch 22...) and it's going to be lovely, because I am definitely not sick. Not at all. It is only allergies. Yes. Right.
I haven't said anything much about grad school lately, because I still don't have much to say. Didn't get into Brown, but seeing as how the program is for a subject I didn't really study much as an undergrad, and they had over 100 applications for about 3 spots, that news neither surprises nor crushes me. Apparently I will not be hearing from Emerson until next week (when I will conveniently be out of the country visiting the Shakespeare Institute,) and god knows about the others. I'm reaching that point of desperation where I don't even want acceptances that badly, just answers. Sure hope I like England as much as I think I do.
And on that note, for all of my friends who have applied to grad school, or are thinking of applying anytime soon:
