Fucking Church
Well, today's drama stems from the last post. We've been thinking about getting married this summer. But, that probably won't happen now that my church won't allow us to get married there since Swank's not a member of a church. So stupid. I don't recall anything in the Bible saying "Thou shalt be a member of a church to get married" or "Thou shalt be a member of a church" anywhere at all. I do recall that Christians are supposed to marry Christians and that they aren't supposed to "forsake the gathering of themselves together," which he doesn't since he goes to church w/me when I go. So, now it looks like we're going to have to find a completely different place for both the ceremony and the reception. And I'm so upset cuz we were gonna have problems affording it when the church was free, but now this makes it ten times worse.
Then, on top of that, I have no idea how I'll be able to afford grad school, and trust me, it was impossible to find a job with just a Bachelor's degree, so grad school is almost necessary. So, I'm really worried about finals, and really hoping I get A's so I can compete with all the other smart people here and the people that just cheat and get good grades. I'd really like to be a TA, but I hear it's really competitive here, so all the more reason to get my grades up as high as they'll go. I'm just so stressed out about money.
