Its been a weird week, but tonight I was inspired once again and that makes me very happy.
People that inspire me...
Bill Washburn, guitar player extraordinare. I am very happy im starting to become friends with this guy. We have so much in common as far as music goes, and i have so much stuff I have to introduce him to and vice versa for him to introduce to me. It is a rare, and very exciting thing to click with someone with a similar appreciation and passion for music that I have. Between his modesty about his talents, his passion for music, his taste in music, and so on, he inspires me to get better at my instrument, discover new things, and create. Its so great to have that.
Jen Owens, recently who I have gotten to know really well! I am really happy that she always comes down from school to hang out. Everything from her easy going personality to how open minded she is about everything is very awesome. I value the talks about life I have with her so much, and they have had a big impact on how I look at things and have definately helped open communication in my realtionship with Jackie immensly. Jen inspires me in how she knows who she is, and is never afraid to make change in her life to make herself happy. If only most people could grasp these things I would connect with so many people! Next year will perhaps be the greatest year of my life, because I will get to live with her, my brother, Sam, and possibly Rob, all of which are amazing people.
I finished recording the vocals to hiding in the light yesterday, and I feel very accomplished. The PM album is coming together so nicely, I am so pumped to finish it, it is really going to be something special. The T-Shirts came yesterday, and I am so happy because they look really great and everyone who has seen them has given nothing but positive feedback!
Oh yeah, and were opening for Lez Zeppelin on October 1st at the Webster. An all girl tribute to the greatest rock and roll band in the history of the world. This will be a killer night.
