sewing class
i'm about to embark on my first sewing class. i'm nervous. i don't really like new situations with new people when i'm a moron about using a sewing machine. it's only 3 hours.. i'll survive.. i guess. and i'll be fine once i'm in there. just nervous.
i went through the manual a little bit just so i had some sort of familiarity. don't know if it'll stick much.. but it appears that i threaded the machine okay. took me a long time to figure it out though.. even with those nifty diagrams. :) oops.
i'm also nervous cuz it's a 3 hour class. and how am i not supposed to potty in 3 hours? god forbid if i ever have a kid. i'll need my own diaper full time. :) twee.
i'm hoping sewing will turn into a fun obsession - like judy's jewelry and annemaries belly dancing. i need something that i'll be obsessed with.. i haven't had anything like that in years.
i'm signed up for the intermediate class next tuesday also - but peter is going to take that with me.. so that's nice.
and.. i'm just about off...
