If the Americans make SPEC they'd better not change Toma's awesome.

HAHAHAHAHA SAME. I knew from the movie trailer that Ninomae wasn't dead, but then he was different in the special and without subs I was hopelessly lost and basically going "YAY TOMA SHOOTING PEOPLE WITH ARROWS" and "WOAH TOMA PULLING PEOPLE'S HEADS OUT OF SIDEWALKS................ wait, wtf?"

SPEC really isn't SPEC without her. If the remake does happen, I hope they don't change it into some generic buddy cop supernatural procedural. :/

Well, they could have found someone who can resurrect people, however that will work, and he is different than he appears in the special anyway - BUT THAT THREW ME. A LOT.

(Not that I'm complaining. I'd pretty much watch an entire season of Ninomae.)

I found myself missing Fukuda Saki in the special, actually. I hope she's in the movie, I think she gives a breather to the push-pull of Toma and Sebumi.
