I'm amused to see that all the crossdressing heroines from last season have grown up. This time it's all about middle-aged women and the variety of ways they become BAMFs:

-A housewife as a mysterious problem-solver
-A housewife who is secretly a spy-A housewife becoming a detective

Hiiiiii! *jumps and clings* Seen any interesting kdramas recently?

I've no idea what I'll be watching this season. A lot of them look interesting, but it seems like I'd get tired of housewives after awhile... maybe I should check them all out and just pick one or two? Decisions, decisions.

I just don't see any good ol' SUPER ROMANTIC tragic dramas.

Well, there's KIMURA TAKUYA THE ARCTIC EXPLORER, which I'm betting will end with either romance or cannibalism.

Honestly, I'm okay with this season being less thrilling than the last, mostly because I'm still trying to catch up with that one. XD I've only finished about half of what I started, WHY PROCRASTINATION, WHY DO YOU HAUNT ME SO, WHY.

I'm cautiously hopeful for the KimuTaku drama because it feels like they've finally stopped trying to make him God. You know? This is a pretty normal role compared to KIMUTAKU THE PRIME MINISTER and KIMUTAKU THE AMAZING SCIENTIST/GIGOLO/HOCKEY STAR/RACECAR DRIVER. If they'll just back off and let him be a real character I'm sure he'll be sexy and charming even stuffed into all those winter coats like a Japanese sausage.

I'm going to watch the first episode of almost ALL the new dramas and then decide which ones I like!

I always promise to do this and then... never do. XD You'll have to let me know if you find a real gem!

Wait, did they really? I thought they settled on Hokkaido. XD If they really went overseas for a dog drama then I have to take it all back, THAT IS FUCKING CRAZY.

Ayase Haruka has one of those flawless faces that makes me simultaneously envious and awestruck. /pines

And finally "The Lying Game" is the guilty pleasure, where I oggle the SMOKING HOT lead guy.

(Actually, the funniest thing is that they changed it from the book. He used to be Ethan Landry. Somewhere along the line, someone involved in the show looked at it and thought "NOT STUPIDLY ROMANTIC ENOUGH! Let's make him a Whitehorse!")
