Seven eps into IS and I almost don't want to watch anymore, because it's becoming increasingly clear that my OTP isn't the OTP and WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME.

...I kinda like football guy. Granted he's pretty clueless about things but for some weird reason i went through a phase of thinking maybe he was IS too because 1. he REALLY likes cooking 2. there was that weird ass speech with his dad about being 'manly' or not being weak or something 3. there's that picture of a boy and girl (where's the girl gone?) 4. he REALLY likes kids (he got waaaaay happy when he saw that kid in the supermarket) 5. he's just very... genki in a girly way maybe? amd 6. we've had a boy who's becoming femimine and vice versa, who's to say there can't be IS who are brought up looking masculine who find themselves more feminine? Does that even make sense?

Lol can you tell i've been thinking way too much about this? Idk, there's something sketchy about Ibuki-kun and his dad.

As for Miwa, i really do feel for the girl considering everything she's gone through (and will do looking at the promo for episode 8 - her mum is fucking nuts) but there's something about her... I'm not sure she'd be good for Haru but their friendship is interesting.

You know who else i love? Reon. He's such an adorable thing and you know that if he found out about Miwa's IS he'd still be into her. It's also really strange seeing him because he's in this other drama Kingyo Club WHICH IS AMAZING AND YOU NEED TO WATCH BECAUSE THE EPS ARE ONLY 20 MINUTES LONG BUT IT'S HIGH SCHOOL STUFF AND ANGSTY AND YOU CAN TELL SHIT IS GONNA HIT THE FAN BUT THE OTP ARE SO CUTE AND PERFECT.

OH AND START WATCHING TEMPEST TOO. NAKAMA YUKIE IS FLIPPING AMAZING AND SO IS EVERYONE ELSE. EVEN GACKT AS A CHINESE EUNUCH EVIL DUDE WITH A VERY LONG TONGUE. DON'T QUESTION IT, THERE ARE 8 EPISODES AND 7 ARE SUBBED.

I was just saying this upthread, I'm too into Haru/Miwa to ship her with Reon, but I still think it's REALLY FRIGGING ADORABLE that he tries. *____* I can't wait until he finds out about her IS (it must happen!) because you know it would matter to him not at all. And having his acceptance could do wonders for Miwa's trust issues.

There's definitely a story behind Ibuki because there wouldn't have been such an emphasis (maybe not as much as Haru's and Miwa's but it's there all the same - have we seen anything about Reon's family? No.) on his relationship with his dad. I'm kinda wondering if i should just spoil myself with episode 8 now lol.

I saw you made a comment about how if it had been an actual male playing Haru and we'd had the attempted suicide scene some would be more accepting a little... Idk. You know, to begin with i totally thought the idea of Haru and Miwa to be ok because they were being set up as the otp (the sakura, saving her, hand holding) but if anything, Miwa's meddling with Ibuki has in some ways sort of forced Haru to come out with being IS. I think at some point Haru would have told Ibuki about it himself but now... I also think that Haru is going to do it for Miwa as well. Argh, it's so hard to figure out.

How come you didn't like Tempest? You kinda have to wait until the end of the episode to get into the good stuff. Also, Tanihara being all, 'I KNOW YOU'RE MAZURU AND I WILL ALWAYS BE BY YOUR SIDE' is heavenly. Thought Takashi as the confused bff is pretty good too.
