Japanese remake? Already?

...does this one actually follow the manga better? Because if yes I might actually watch. The first one was one woefully wasted opportunity.

YES! They've added a few plots, but also kept a lot of details like Umeda being gay and Nanba's uncle. I'm hoping the trend continues because there are some manga storylines I'd love to see. *crosses fingers*

Dig it! I'll definitely check it out now. The manga was perfect fluff mixed with hillarity so if they stick to that, it's one worth watching. The original one was such a mess with the Ikemen-obsession.

I loved the original, but it definitely wasn't the manga. (And I'm all nostalgic for it now, damn. *wistful sigh*)
