Two eps into Heartstrings and I think it's a win! It won't change the face of Korean television or anything, but it's fresh and funny and just the right amount of ridiculous ( Read more... )

it's like i don't even want sleep, heartstrings, the sound of music, deep and substantial television, pretty people in implausible situations, surrender all sanity, het! on a motherfuckin' journal!, i need a support group for this

OMG, how I adore this drama. It's like it took all the parts of YAB and Mary that annoyes me and fixed them and kept all the parts I love.

Also, I know I sound like a broken record or a cult member but City Hunter! I am through ep 13 and it's so dark and h/c and gooooood and Nana is the toughest, coolest heroine since Sujini. Dare I say it, it is almost IRISy.

Oh man, it reminds me so much of MSOAN. All the music and cute little jokes (Natasha, what?) and especially the way the two groups of friends are meshing together. I think I'm developing a thing for "youthful" dramas. They make me so happy!

Cult is a good word. :p

I keep wondering who Natasha is supposed to be. Only one I can think of is Natasha Rostova from War & Peace but I doubt floppy boy reads Tolstoy.

Anyway, I want overeater and bulimic together.

Sadly, I don't see fakecest there unless not!ShinWoo's Mom really got around. If you want fakecest in an airing drama, you have to watch Miss Ripley :)

I like the real vibe in friendly interactions.

I know eating disorders aren't funny and I feel like a horrible person for my amusement... but seriously, an overeater and a bulimic. What, class differences aren't enough anymore?

I doubt they're siblings but I'm equally up for we-think-we're-related-so-let's-angst-about-it. Om nom nom.

Miss Ripley is totally on my list for the premise alone. :D

Actually, Puppy is a litterary major, so it could well be War & Peace. ;P
