I THINK I'M CURSED.
First I watch Clone Baby, an awesome little drama that introduces me to
Matsuzaka Tori. His role is that of a hot, damaged, desperate, achingly romantic... secondary guy.
OKAY.
So he doesn't get the girl even though he's better, hotter, and more interesting than the main hero. That's fine. That just means he'll be pure and untouched when I fly to Japan and kidnap him for my sex basement. I CAN DEAL.
But now I'm watching Asuko March, which Matsuzaka Tori is also in...
...as a hot, damaged, achingly romantic secondary guy who is STILL MORE INTERESTING THAN THE HERO.
WHY DO DRAMAS DO THIS TO ME?
WHY WOULD YOU EVEN HAVE A SCENE LIKE THAT IF THEY'RE NOT THE CANON COUPLE. WHY. WHY WHY WHY WHY. *STOMPS FOOT*
Her first day of school...
Then she runs into him in the nurse's office, where he's recuperating from being so damn cute that he physically cannot lift himself anymore. (Okay, I made that part up. He's skipping class. Because he's a rebel.)
The nurse is like "IF YOU GUYS WANT TO BANG... well, I guess here is cleaner than the gym or something" and Yoshino gets all flustered and angry without actually moving away. They literally have a dozen lines of dialogue JUST LIKE THIS.
HIS FACE. AHAHAHAHA.
More cherry blossoms! This time loaded down with TEEN ANGST.
A meaningful token...
...which she keeps.
SERIOUSLY, HOW ARE THEY NOT THE OTP? The drama is fucking with me, right? I skimmed ep 2 and there's a lot of Aruto. THIS DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE.
