The Vampire Diaries: HOW IS THIS SHOW SO AWESOME I DON'T EVEN. I mean. It's called The Vampire Diaries. And yet it's SO GOOD. Badass ladies, delicious mancandy, crazy plot twists and character arcs, and a love square that leaves me flailing like a maniac. IS IT NEXT THURDAY YET?

Nikita: I AM ALL OVER THIS. Remember the end of IRIS? Remember what we all wanted Seung Hee to do after the finale? WELL, THIS IS BASICALLY IT, EXCEPT HER NAME IS NIKITA.
She's a vengeful ex-assassin who's turned all her guns on "Division" -- the organization that plucked her out of jail and made her into a killer -- and now she spends her time snapping necks, blowing shit up, and getting into gunfights, determined to bring Division down.
Did I mention Division has a revolving door of female badasses? And that their newest recruit is a violent, fork-wielding street girl who winds up (spoilers for the first episode) being Nikita's mole, planted in Division to spy for her? SO BASICALLY THE PLOT IS "TWO WOMEN WORKING TOGETHER TO TAKE DOWN AN ENTIRE ORGANIZATION OF ASSASSINS." FUCK YES A++++ THIS IS TELEVISION MADE DIRECTLY FOR ME.
Oh, and did I mention one of the Division women is Melinda fucking Clarke? And the new girl puts a knife to her throat and she doesn't even blink. Because she's Melinda fucking Clarke.
In non-Western TV, I watched Joker 9, except I have nothing to recap because I'm honestly out of theories. They all have alibis! What the hell! This will either be a massively convoluted plot twist or the most amazingly plotted mystery villain in the history of jdramas.
