scanky_chops, you have to watch Cinderella Unni! It's basically a grittier version of Massugu na Otoko, with a rebellious girl and a sweet guy and tons of chemistry. I'm not completely sold yet (whenever it has a screechy Korean melodrama moment I can't help but think of Massugu's more subtle approach to the heroine's problems, plus it doesn't have SATO

The most awesome is Jang Hee-bin (or Hui-bin, your romanization mileage may vary), though, for being a middle-class palace servant girl who manages to get the king to fall in love with her, oust the queen, and play various political factions against each other for the sake of her infant son. Unfortunately she meets a bad end, but she's a worthy foe, what can I say.
Tl;dr: shenanigans.
Honestly, the biggest plus is that the writer (AND HISTORY) are known for the happy ending for our baby girl (though not for her fictional big brother figure, who will just have to seek solace in the embrace of his fangirls) so we don't have to wade through 50 episodes to find that rocks have fallen and everyone died. [insert headbutt to HGD]

On second though, Prosecutor is worth checking out, OML and PT are being shelved. PT is just, I don't like trainwreck main characters when they have no agency, so I might have to give it pass despite Lee Min-ho (LEE MIN HO OMG). I am sad. D:
