It sounds awesome, I'm all for buddy cop shows that are done well and srsly badass lady gangster? I AM SO THERE. and since a2a is only got new eps once a week i can afford to watch some sexy asians shoot at each other each week too.
Yes you can totally know nothing about life on mars and watch it, I know this is true because a large number of people watch a2a without having watched LOM and in fact some people didnt even like LOM but love A2A. I love both, and I'm a rarity since most people prefer one or the other XD though I think I'm leaning more towards A2A because it's SO complex and surreal and the characters are all so fascinating and layered and the 80'S SONGS! THE FASHIONS! THE ANGSTY GENE! SHAZ! who i love so much more than annie who was the token female on life on mars. and Alex omg, when I was watching ep1 today for the new season she SO reminded me of usagi reiko from koshonin. She was doing that thing where she talks the guy down and walks willfully into danger but keeps her cool and gah she was so cool <33 She has a few not so cool moments in Series 1 but she gets her badass moments in, especially when she drives gene crazy with her psychology stuff. or uses big words. XD ok ok I'll stop gushing XD but I will add that my icon symbolizes alex&gene's relationship rather well I think. :Dv

YAY! she uses her smarts to complete cases it's great and her cranky boss ie gene totally has a crush on her but it's not done to the point of being annoying at all. Oh and I was gonna say if you need dl links for A2A I have links for all 8 eps of S1 and ep 1 of S2. just in case you dont wanna mess with those torrents cause omg they take forever. I was practically shrieking at my computer last night and I ended up having to wait till the next morning to watch the new episode. ;_; I think a2a is the only show in which I watched the first season once and then waiting a week and watched it again XD. because omg you miss so much little things on the first go through! just a warning though that the first ep of S1 while amazing fun has got it's fair share of cheesy or over the top moments (speedboat on the thames anyone?) but it's not all just stupid fun, you'll find out by ep 8 what I mean ;)

right now I'm dling state of play since it has so many actors from LOM and A2A in it and BILL NIGHY WOOOO <3. I have such a thing for john simm now, he is an amazing amazing actor and I am now determined to pretty much dl everything he's been in.
I love the leverage cast and crew srsly, dorks <3 summer cant come soon enough!
