It's funny how there's never hordes of fandomers ready to defend a female villain's misdeeds. No, when she does something unforgivable she's a crazy psycho, but when a guy does it, he's just misunderstood...
so sad yet so true. Simply cause men are expected to be aggressors so if they do something aggressive, well they're just being men arent they? -_-, in fact speaking of red riding hood. in the charles perrualt version, (that is the oldest written version) the story is really a bout a young lady of high breeding who unwittingly walks into the wolf's clutches and is killed (the killing here really means more like sex/taking her virginity). it's relevant because he clearly states the tale is meant to teach young ladies about "wolves" as in "men" it's obnoxious because the wolf is the one who is being cruel but the women is blamed for going to him because the wolf is only doing what's natural. this was written in the 17th century and sadly alot of people still think like this today. and what's sad is the woman doesnt even have to be a villain to get demonized, lets not remind me of all those "god veronica is SUCH a bitch!" comments i had to endure back in my veronica mars days -_- oh yes she was ostracized and abused by others and ditched by her mom and raped and she should just be a ball of sunshine! *kicks things*
