OMG THIS EPISODE WAS AMAAAAZING. I seriously could not be more hooked on this show. And I pulled out my tarot cards again that I haven't read since high school.
I'm totally with you on Naoto. After his confessional in the library, I really believed his remorse. I'm glad they had this episode, because, before, I had assumed that his hardcore dectivery (shh, it's a word) was to make up for his past sins, but, really...he just seemed to be running running running. So yay for pain?! Ah, you know what I mean.
I'm still confused about the murder. It always looks to me like he is shoving the knife into Hideo, even if he seems shocked afterwards. I dunno.
Yamano I can't feel bad for until someone assures me that he is 100% not a pedophile. SERIOUSLY. EXPLAIN THAT.
Also: Does Naruse know that Yamano gave Hideo that knife?!?!
I figured Naruse had changed his name, but faked death? CHOICE. The scene was so epic, and then zomg surprise blind "sister"!
I HOPE SHE'S A NUN.
I really can't decide what was my favorite part of this episode. It's probably between the photos and the flashback to young Naruse telling Toma's papa how it's gonna be. Both times me and my friend squealed "AHHH CREEPY AWESOME AWESOME." Much badassary indeed.
She can't be his real sister. Right? Unless he stole her lipgloss and locked her in the attic during all those fun family photos. When this series is over, I will make a "My Lipgloss is Poppin'" fanvid. Toma can yell and shake people and demand to know "where you get yours from."

OMG OMG I KNOW SO AWESOME. Every episode just gets more intense. I didn't think they could keep up this pace but it's delicious to be proven wrong.
(Honestly, though, I love the mindgames but I'm getting a little bloodthirsty. More stylish murders, please! Especially since Naoto is more sympathetic now, they should be wonderfully wrenching. Who do you cheer on??)
I can't believe Naruse would work with Yamano knowing it was his knife that killed his brother. Maybe Naruse is just using him? Or maybe he values Yamano's life because Hideo did-- he must know about their friendship if he's reeling Yamano in with the promise of Naoto's suffering.
OH MY GOD MAYBE HE'S JUST LONELY. SORA DOESN'T JUDGE HIM!! *SCRUBS BRAIN*
