*CRIES EYES OUT* I held myself together when Night went about quietly making preparations for his death, but I was a tearful mess by his last night with Riiko. He kissed her while she slept!! He told her he loved her! Then he walked out the door to die!!!
And with his last bit of energy he looks to the stars and wraps himself in the scarf Riiko made. "I was able to love Riiko... I was happy."
And Riiko, the next morning, completely clueless until a visit from a solemn Namikiri. Oh my god, my heart. "But you said you fixed him." "But you can fix him, right?" SOB SOB SOB.
And he left a message for her, telling her to smile and be happy!
Soshi hears everything outside the door but can't bring himself to go in:
So Riiko cries BROKEN-HEARTED AND ALL ALONE, regretting that she didn't treat Night better, repeating his name over and over, as the camera swings about her apartment filled with Night's things and all the empty spaces he left behind. Oh my god.
And the final scene of the drama is Namikiri closing the door on Night's body as he lays unresponsive in an anonymous storage unit, still wrapped in Riiko's scarf.
"Sweet dreams, 01."
OMG I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS PAIN. I JUST WANTED TO WATCH A NAKED ROBOT! She never even had sex with him! Is this going to be a constant in Aibu Saki's career, that all her OTPs end too soon?

I also watched the Last Friends special -- all nine minutes of it -- but I'm not gonna say anything so I won't become that fan, the one so bitter with something they bitch about it long after they should've just stopped watching. Instead, I'll talk about what I did enjoy: my trip to the LF d-addicts thread!
You guys, it was amazing. It was basically a congregation of awesome gifs and Ruka/Michiru and Takeru/Ruka fans co-existing peacefully to loathe Sousuke.
That's Michiru slapping him and Ruka stomping on him. "Tag teamed." I KEEP WATCHING IT AND LAUGHING MY ASS OFF AHAHAHAHA.
